One of my early musical memories is of my father calling me downstairs to watch a music video. It was channel 8 and Tom Waits was on a tricycle riding in circles around a leafless tree in a red cape with a magnifying glass as a microphone, protesting that he didnt want to grow up. I had never seen anything like that before and that sparked a curiosity in me that would weave its way through time.
